Getting the foil back on isn't as hard as you would think. Pull it off very carefully and all you have to do to reseal is stick it in the microwave for a few seconds with the cap on tight and the glue will reseal. Used to do this same thing when I was a young man getting stinky contraband into Canada on fishing trips
