What's the latest? I've heard the dems are threatening to deploy the VNG to squash these 2A sanctuary counties... And in turn folks are talking about, or are in the process of, forming militias.
It's hard to judge how much is posturing and hyperbole and what the facts are.

I’m following a couple folks that are crossing the state attending the county meetings. Sounds like things could get pretty tense. Possible Kent State only with returning fire.

If they are called up I have to wonder how many guardsmen will report for duty... I'm guessing a decent percentage are residents of the very counties they'd be sent to invade. Mike

What's the National Guard going to do? There's no armed insurrection. I'm not sure the NG is equipped to make prosecutors enforce state laws. I don't know who can do that but I'm not sure the NG are the right people. Sounds like fake news to me.

I think it is far more likely the governor will task the state police with enforcement of the new BS laws.
Threatening to use the National Guard was stupid and, IMO, pure theatrics.
Eh...wot?

they are forming the Militia because there is a unique clause in the Virginia constitution that basically requires it. that each county maintain a well regulated Militia interdependent of any standing state or federal army.
this has been ignored since reconstruction for the most part.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Good. It looks like the liberal, anti-constitution, anti-2A, anti-America freaks have taken notice of the massive push-back against their gun-grabbing laws.
Eh...wot?

Good question EdP. I'd love to see the percentage of registered voters that voted from each party.
Eh...wot?

Had a school bond vote here. increase on property tax. It passed. I cant find anybody who voted for it.

That is a good question. Either they didn't get out and vote and now they're in oh crap mode or something is a muck with the computerized voting. Call me paranoid if you wish and I know in the past there has been fraud with paper ballots but this computer voting is to easy to mess with imo. I don't trust it and think we should get a print out of how we vote.

As far as I'm concerned if any "army" of force is sent in to disarm lawful citizens and fires upon those citizens unjustly then it's open season. We don't live in Hong Kong where we can be shot dead in the streets for protesting and nothing happens. If it happens here they're getting what they want and that's a war! I am currently in law enforcement and have been for almost 21yrs and I am opposed to and will not uphold any laws against the constitution.

They start throwing lead around, it could be the final straw for the DemoRatic party. Thousands of God fearing, American loving patriots will invade that state and it's going to get ugly quick. It could be the flash point. Just look at all the help the cattle ranchers got a few years back and that was nowhere near the scale of this.
I BELIEVE IN MY GOD, MY COUNTRY AND IN MYSELF.

Look at the last vote...all but 11 counties was red !!! All big cities went blue. 70% of the population is in the big cities. People are traveling to each county which is why they are showing the numbers at the meetings but those folks can’t vote there.
