I have the 200 dollar vortex and it sucks. Replaced it with a 160 dollar Bushnell that is way better. I personally would not get the cheap vortex again. I have a Bushnell and am very happy with it. Good from archery range out to around five hundred yards.

The only cheap RF I’ve found that works remotely well is the Halo series. And I had a very hard time talking myself into one until my buddy sold it to me for $40. It’s taken a beating and keeps on getting it. But, my plan is to upgrade to a Vortex soon enough. Looked at the leupold and if the warranty was better on the electronics, I’d go that direction. Vortex covers it all, no questions asked.
I keep desperately hoping that one day someone will call me "Sir" without adding "please calm down" or "you're causing a scene."

Hard to be the Nikon monarch series for quality glass at a decent price. Yup. Got the stabilized model. The only qualm I have with it is in low light you can not see your target. By low light I mean the times you probably should not be shooting at critters anyway. It still ranged, I just could not see the deer. I had to hold the button in an move it to the side till I saw the closer range. 420 yards was the range. He tasted good.

I have a Bushnell/Yellow! I got it from a guy who ordered it then didn't like the color.
It was made in 1996, and still works well today. Good for a maximum of 400 yards, providing you can hold it still.

The sig kilo 850 has been good to me. The LCD readout is black and not illuminated. It ranges quick and accurately, I have ranged a deer at 618 yards. Took 3 readings and all were within + or - one yard.
