One minute your on frozen ground the next thing your stuck in the mud, talked to the landowner today he said don't go through this gate! LOL Stuck his tractor trying to open up a way to the alfalfa bales he wanted to move. Brother in law did the same thing just down the road. Looked for traps today they were under a pond of ice froze solid so I added a couple sets closer to the fence line where it was a bit dryer. No problem just a few feet away from the new pond.

As I drive by the harvested fields it's common to see black ruts about anyplace where either the combines or wagons were stuck, track vehicles are a premium this year dragging the other equipment around.

Sounds like a huge mess.

Everything passes... keep moving Maybe next spring it'll dry out.

It's the same up here in spots. 6" of ice on the lakes, -10 below and I have slush in my boot tracks in places.

How I believe I'll be by the end of this week. We had 2-3 inches of snow with lows down to 12 the last two nights. Now it looks like we're going to hit 50's by Friday.....sure makes keeping coilsprings going a chore if not running all exposed. Constant huge freeze thaw. It's staying froze enough in the morning I can get around to run traps...when it doesn't freeze at night I'll probably be done. There's ditches here that are 3-4 foot wide that have never been there in years past from the wet year we had...have to pay attention out in the fields or you aren't coming back out without help.

same way here jerry , to much snow early , no frost now ,we had about 6 inches of frost in ground , but it left with all the snow , we have 3 feet of snow ,some places have 5-6 feet

Wettest year I can remember in a while,,, mud has been horrible this year 4 wheelers the whole time until lately.
