Some on here don't seem to understand his question or you have never shot fast moving targets .
For those of you that comment he should use a single projectile just ask why bird hunters don't hunt with 22 rifles. Or better still gammo air rifles?????

And before you say it's illegal that's not the big reason they don't use them. It's because they would hardly ever kill one.

Plus a quail won't rip you a new one as it flies past...

Hey introduce him to buck shot. He will kill more. He hunts hogs and never uses buck shot? In Georgia!!!! Heck I thought that's all they used down there. Even for those boone and crockett rabbits. Oh wait that's how big the deer are down there...

But consider looking into the copper plated stuff, it is very effective.

I vote bargain (value pack) 2 3/4 inch double ought buck, modified or full choke, test both on paper, and keep the range under 40 yards to maintain penetrating power. just my .02 If money is no object then i would vote for a dead coyote choke tube and ammo. look up the "dead coyote" brand it's pretty amazing, just pricey, lol

sounds a bit like a swamp drive

slugs aren't that bad from a decent gun.

I never felt a slug while I was hunting to busy focusing on the target.

a nice 12 ga auto loader and the only issue will be feeding it fast enough.

America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

They shoot hogs out of helicopters with 2 3/4" 00 buck. Lays them right down and doesn't kill their shoulder shooting 50-60 hogs at a time.

I used to hunt white tails with hounds. I used and killed deer #1, #0, #00, and #000. I liked #000 the best because they passed through most deer within 40 yards.

Never killed a hog but aren’t they more dense than deer? Is penetration an issue? Need to break some bones, then 000 in a 3” gun is serious medicine.
