Im thinking of switching to pogo's for k9 if a guy can get away with 1 1/4" washers for ease of driving into frozen ground. I would say 80% of my season the ground is frozen. I currently use wolf fangs and they are ok but the pogo's I have tried seem to go in a little easier.

I had problems with the washer rolling over on pogos in frozen ground so I went WF. My WFs are only 1 1/4” wide which would be same cross section being driven as the pogos you are asking about. I do drill a pilot hole w a 1” wood auger bit when needed though.

I use 1 1/2" washer all the time
