Woke up two days ago without the use of my right arm. I believe i'm dealing with Bursitis. Heading to doctor this morning. Can't sleep and and no relief. Nothing is working. I can handle pain very well, but this is totally different animal. Maybe a shot or two will help. Anybody else dealt with an extreme case before? Thanks, Sarge

Haven't had this myself. I hope the doctor gets this issue figured out and you recover quickly.

I’ve had chronic left shoulder bursitis for a couple years due to many years of weight training, my surgeon says it’s inoperable, I get a shot of depo medrol, which is a cortisone every 3 months which is the criteria for cortisone shots, within a few days I’m good for about 2 months pain free, then I’m in pain again for about a month, then back in I go, I’m sure I’ll be looking at a total shoulder replacement down the line!

had bursitis and arthritis in my shoulder bad a few years ago. orthopedic surgeon did arthroscopic surgery and removed it. Earlier this year I tore my rotator cuff and had surgery to repair it. Got he clearance yesterday to go back to work at the end of this month, after 6 months of sitting on the couch my rotator cuff tear hurt really bad right after it happened, and was impossible to do anything with my arm any higher than my chest.

Went to see the doc. Got a shot in the shoulder. Feeling a little better. He believes its bursitis and over use of arm. Been doing alot of heavy lifting a few days prior, plus beaver trapping. Soreness i can live with, pretty much sore somewhere on daily basis. Old age sucks. The lack of sleep and not getting things done truly sucks more. Hopefully by Monday, maybe set some traps. Thanks for all your replies. Sarge

Friend, I'd get that looked at - and like right now...
I've been plagued with bad knees, but now lower back problems to the point where my legs will randomly go numb while walking, which is bad !! No trapping 3rd season in a row now because of all this....
Thankfully, I got some one who is treating me with acupuncture, and it is definately helping out - but I will still need like 7 more weeks of treatment.
You might want to consider going this route too is nothing else is helping you.
Feel better !!
