Looking to buy my first ecaller and spend around $150. I plan to use it for coyote, coon, and crows. Any and all advice on the subject is welcome.

I have the FoxPro patriot which was right in that price range. I'm not a big caller. I enjoy calling coons here and there. I think I paid right at $150 for it. Basic but has 25 or so different sounds and is programmable.

Have a higher end foxpro..only because i got a good deal on it used from a friend. Reason I mention it is that after using it, I realize I only use about 12-15 different sounds . Could have gone with a more basic set up and been quite happy. Otherwise, been very happy with FP

The Patriot Wade mentioned or the inferno. Inferno is $200, comes with a more upgraded remote, 75 sounds over 35 for the Patriot. Either one will work perfectly fine though. Between the sounds that come programmed and
Foxpros free sounds you can add you will have plenty for any situation. If you find yourself hunting very open areas and want more volume you can always add a sp-60 external speaker or find a used sp-55.

I have a now discontinued wildfire 2 which is comparable to these new models, just older style remote. Added a used sp-55 speaker and have more than enough volume for anywhere I hunt.

United we stand,divided we fall.

Do I need to factor in purchasing a decoy along with the caller as well?

I’d take a look at the lucky duck rebel.not a ton of sounds but it’s got realistic sounds and good volume, also has a built in decoy.
