What ATV rack's do you have on your ATV? Where did you buy your's from? I looking at buying both front and rear racks for my 2007 Can-Am Outlander and wanting to find racks that are well made. Lets see some pictures of your set up's on your bikes. I'm looking at maybe these racks off of e-Bay

Dennis Kirk has a good selection and reasonably priced.

Strongmade drop basket has done me well for several years and I’ve not been gentle on it. Good products.

If you have a Harbor Freight store close by, get two of their receiver hitch racks. They cost about $50.00. They come in three pieces. bolt together both sides and leave out the center 4" tube. Install on your existing racks with stainless u-bolts. They work really well and are cheap. I then use old milk crates for traps etc. 6 330's will fit in each milk crate and you have all kinds of places to use bungee cords to tie everything down. The sides of the hitch racks are about 4" high which helps secure whatever you haul.

I got a set like you have pictured from Sportsman Guide. They work well but surface rusted pretty fast and the attachment hardware was junk.

Big Buck, I use the same racks you have pictured. I got mine from Sportsman Guide. I don't remember the price. The only fault I have is the rear rack is behind the rear end of the ATV a good distance and being that far back it can balance the load too far to the rear. I wouldn't trade mine because of that, but it will squat the rear end a lot more. Most ATV's have an adjustment on the rear shocks set that on the biggest setting. Mine is mounted on an Arctic Cat 550 2011 model.

Does your stuff in the drop down rack get muddy from the rear tires? Thats my only concern is my gear getting muddy with the rear rack, or if I should get the rack thats level with the 5" rail around it.

I have a similar rack to the 1st pictures. Yes the stuff in the drop rack gets muddy. The drop rack also gets in the way of some trailers unless you lengthen the tongue. If you put three 5 gallon buckets of feed in the back it's real easy to pop a wheeley. If doing it again I would not get the drop rack.

Big Buck, yep stuff will get some splatters on it. You can put some cardboard around the inside to stop it during muddy times. I guess plastic would work too, I use cardboard that's all I can vouch for.

i wouldnt put much weight on a rack than hangs out over the back of the bike.It will overload your suspension and you will be soon changing parts.

If you get a drop basket put a piece of belting in the bottom of it keeps mud out and chains from falling through.
