TurkeyWrangler OP trapper T Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 2,207 AR	I was looking at a pond today with beaver in it and one of the fresher trails from it went right to a white oak tree and all underneath it was tore up. I really think the beaver are eating the acorns. No chewing on the tree or on anything near the tree. Thinking of putting out a camera just to see for sure. Poor people have poor ways.

beaverpeeler trapper Joined: Dec 2006 Posts: 11,208 Oregon	Bark is just one of things that beaver eat. They eat all kinds of other stuff, herbs, roots, bulbs and corms to name a few. So I say heck yeah, why not acorns. My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
