I was looking at a pond today with beaver in it and one of the fresher trails from it went right to a white oak tree and all underneath it was tore up. I really think the beaver are eating the acorns. No chewing on the tree or on anything near the tree. Thinking of putting out a camera just to see for sure.

Poor people have poor ways.

Bark is just one of things that beaver eat. They eat all kinds of other stuff, herbs, roots, bulbs and corms to name a few. So I say heck yeah, why not acorns.

My fear of moving stairs is escalating!
