Only had out 5 sets and caught 2 beaver and a big boar coon. I also put about a 6 foot length of 10 inch field tile across the dam to incourage otter play and I put an RBG 280 in each end to make it even more fun for me than the otters. It was the perfect plan and I could hardly wait for my double on otter this morning as I tried to go to sleep last night. Oh no, the beavers had another dream, pack it full of mud and leaves. Well maybe tomorrow!

X2, that's a great day!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

3 critters out of 5 traps on a one day check-excellent.

Well Mr. or Mrs. Beaver is getting smart and pushed mud up against my crossover set and packed mud in my super whamadine pipe otter set so I got more serious and set a couple more traps today. Put a rebar drowner with a MB 750 chained to it on a caster mount set with some Backbreaker on a fresh pealed stick right where said beaver is digging mud to plug up my plastic pipe and I set a 330 belisle on an H frame with a dive stick in a deep channel running parallel with the dam. I then spruced up my other sets and kicked a couple new leaks at the top of the dam to get under their fur! grin
