So I put up my first beaver, turned out decent, couple small tears, but overall i'm happy. If i decide to tan this, after it comes out of the brine, does it have to be boarded again? Or once its stretched its good? I guess my question is everytime i soak it does it have to go back on the board? Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

I'm by no means an expert but I tanned on this fall. I reboarded it after the brine to keep the shape nice for hooping.

Yep and unless you just want it just for a walk hanging it will need to be thinned as that have a thick skin that is like wet cardboard otherwise, but that’s fine for a wall hanging

Thanks. Yes I just plan to hoop it and hang on the wall. I've done a few animals with the orange bottle solution, definately not garment quality, but i just want to preserve and display on the wall.
