Every time I have had the funds laying around they have been sold out. Pretty hot item in these parts. Ruger sure seems to make a nice pistol. I really hope it continues into this line up as well. I have loved every Ruger revolver i have ever shot.

put the funds down on an order at the local gun store then your guaranteed the next one to come in.

I was talking to my shop a few months ago , he said the next 5 black on black he gets are already spoken for he had a copper colored one he could sell but it was gone in a day or two.

Never owned a revolver so I can’t compare it to anything. But I will say my first three rounds were in a clover leaf at 10ft. Don’t plan on having to shoot much farther than that, but I will play around some and see how far I can accurately shoot. Ordering a holster from Ruger as well.

I haven't held one yet, sure looks like a winner for Ruger. .22 revolvers have always been fun. Is it a steel or alloy frame?

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

I've looked at several of them. They sure do look and handle nice... But I just can't commit. I'm not a fan of loading/unloading through the gate behind the cylinder.

Im holding out for a cylinder that swings out of the frame... Or a breakover.

They're very nice guns though. I may talk myself into buying one yet. Lol

Yeah, not one you’d want to get in a gunfight with have to reload, but for trapping and the price it seems to fit the bill.

ceracoat alluminum alloy cyclinder frame , zinc alloy grip frame , mostly MIM internals

the cylinder and barrel are carbon steel the cylinder in all 3 is black nitrite finished the barrel ceracoat

same size as the single six in steel but a couple ounces lighter

while I wouldn't want to get into a gun fight with a SAA or a 22lr

for trapping when you don't have to unload to get in and out of the truck a single action army type revolver works well.

I wore my old copy of a colt SAA 22 revolver in a right handed holster on my left side so it fit between the door and the seat without poking me int he side , not normally a fan of cross draw , it isn't an issue on the trap line with no one around.

I also carried it with 5 in the cyclinder as it has no safety like the Ruger which has a transfer bar and can be carried with 6 in the cylinder safely

so you don't have to repeat after me load one skip one load 4 more.
once I had shot I would load 1 more as I was down on the fired case with the hammer

with the Wrangler you can just eject the spent and fill it back up while you wait a few moments then remake the set

Being a constitutional carry state makes it easier to deal with an SAA now... No more unload/load at every stop when checking traps. I just got to where I pulled the pin and dropped the cylinder on my Heritage... Made it a lot faster.

I may buy one of those new Rugers yet. Lol

we got CCL concealed carry license in 2011 that made it much better for us , we can carry open in a car without a license since 11/1/2011 the same day CCLs application started better place it on the dash to avoid possible issues every cop seems to have his own idea of what is concealed and even then there is federal school zone law can't drive within 1000 feet of a school unless un-loaded and cased or have a CCL.

WI CCL is 40 dollars for first 5 years 22 for each additional 5 years so it is cheap insurance and makes life easier .
