Was thinking about making a PVC fleshing beam. Watched some YouTube videos on how to do it then starting looking for a place to buy some 10-12 in Sch 80. Didn't realize how expensive that stuff was. Thought I'd ask here if anyone has purchased any can you share where you got it.

Keep your eyes open around sewer/water projects. Some pipe yards may have damaged/broken pieces in back of their yard.

I got mine from a well drilling company. I think I paid around $10 a foot. Also check with your local municipality, they may have some left from a water or sewer project.

I got mine at a recycling yard. I have also seen piles of them at excavation contractor yards

Just happy to be here.

I found a pile at the golf course I trap. It was buried in the woods covered up with other construction debris

Wish I had more time to trap....

Second what strike2x said, it is used for mainlines in golf course irrigation systems. I have a pile at work up to 14 inch in diam. I made a snow blade for a quad out of some. I should cut some up and sell, think I have 8 up to 14 inch.

There's likely going to be a shortage of it... I figure a lot of it is being sold in Virginia right now.

If you live in a small town or village, go to the Department of Public Works. They always have short pieces laying around.

Thank you for all the advice. I'll certainly follow up on some and see what I can find. Much appreciated.

If you strike out, PM me, you cover the shipping I will send you a chunk. I have some 14 diameter I could slice a chunk from. Its 1/2 inch thick or so.
