I doubt there’s many folks that’d give you a fair price..and most will be in the lower 48. Shipping wouldn’t be worth it. I collect but I’d only offer maybe 25-40 bucks each. These saws are from the early 60s I believe and parts are not easy to find, likely eBay items. You could just use them till they blow.

Man my dad back when he logged in late 60s and early 70s really cussed and cussed them old mccullochs. Had one with a long bar that wouldn't start when it got hot and then shut off.. Watched his boss throw one off a high river bank because he was sick of pulling on it to try to start it. Oh the memories. That movie with Fonda when he gets pinned underwater by a log and the other guy was trying to start that McCulloch, my dad used to laugh and point at the tv saying "see?" They had one too!!! Jim

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.

In other words they vapor lock and can be a problem in that regard because of the design of the saw. As for a price as mentioned above they aren't worth much until that's all you have and need to cut some wood , I'd run them until they give up the ghost . When you shut them off and they lock up let them cool down you'll actually hear the gas boiling so be careful when opening the cap to the gas tank to refill it or letting it cool down.

Nope, 100cc saws of that age didn't have ez start. I'd be interested if not for the shipping cost.
like said, look on ebay for value. They run is a plus.

I had one at work long time ago. .Electric start model. Used it to trim around hydro lines , from a bucket truck. Caught it on a limb one day, it dropped on pavement about 30 feet. Last time it ran. I would run them , till they aggravate you , too much. Then sell or give them to a collector. If refuelling, fill the oil tank first , gives the gas tank a bit longer to cool, . Start right away after you put the gas cap on, Do this on my saws. Hot gas in the tank expands and tends to flood the saw, or cause vapor lock. Only had experience with one pioneer, it was nice and light, but not a heavy duty. old243

Man that's a question that would be fairly easy for me to answer. I'd get rid of them !! Back in 1973 when my dad was killed, I helped Mom hang onto the family farm. I was only 15 then but I remember trying to start an old saw that was Grandpas and then dads. I can always remember both of them cussing that thing when they went to use it. I thought it would be cool and I would be a BIG MAN cutting with that thing. Weighed a ton with about a 30" bar. Took a million pulls to start it. Always had someone working on it. Still got it somewhere, probably deep in the iron pile. Went to Homelite saws for years and now I have Stihl saws. Suspect I'll use Stihl till the day I die. Here's an image of that ole saw....
