I didnt see the whole game.....didn’t even know it was on...until I was channel surfing. But after seeing the high lights.....looks like a lot of calls went Clemsons way. I have no dog in the fight and could care less.

I used to only watch NFL. I was a bills fan until I was 10 or so and then switched to 49ers for years, while still holding a soft spot for the bills. Once I got watching the much better college games I continued to watch NFL games to see my Bama boys in the big league. Until they started kneeling. My husband is a veteran and that is something I cannot abide, If college teams follow suit I'll be out that door just as quickly.

I know Woody Hays was known for "four yards and a cloud of dust" but I was surprised that Fields did not throw more often. Maybe that int at the end was the reason why.

Early in the game, Fields had great protection and had plenty of time to pass. Made accurate throws that were caught. Clemson finally got to him a few times later in the game and his accuracy suffered when he was rushed. Clemson actually missed a couple that they should have intercepted. The pressure and the panic of being behind makes for bad throws at the worst times. That interception that sealed the game was not even close to a jersey of the buckeye color.

Speaking of Woody, he was called for an unsportsman conduct penalty in the final minute of the 1978 Gator Bowl that OS lost to Clemson. Clemson had the ball and a 2 point lead and kept making 1st downs to close that one out.

The receiver zigged when he should have zagged, and fell down. I don't think you can blame that last interception on Fields.

I thought the days of bad officiating deciding games was gone, what with the video replays. I was wrong.

I'm proud to cheer for my favorite team win or loose I don't need a whole conference to cheer for so I can feel better. For you REAL LSU fans good luck, they are very good.

Sucks when the team you are crowing about falls short. Fields threw the ball directly to the Clemson defender and you say not his fault....HaHa!

There were a couple really bad calls, and that pick 6 should have never been overturned. Horrible. But the story of the game was OSU had to settle for field goals instead of touchdowns three times in the first half. That would have made all the difference.

SEC doing ok themselves . 2 and 0 . PLUS still playing in a game that matters !!!!

Oh yea threads like this will die down now that Big 10 STILL hasn't won a game in the play-offs for 6 years now and counting.

The playoffs will go to 8 games so Big 10 MAYYYBBEEE can get 2 teams in so they MAYYBBBEEEE can stop the drought of loosing games that count ........................

All I have heard "Oh ST best defense" "Oklahoma best offense" "OH St Fields offensive machine" , I have said this from the beginning of watching college football. Stats mean NOTHING unless you look at the competition they are made against. Any football team with a decent offense can rack up yards and points when playing against middle school talent. Just look what happens to big 12 , pack 12 heck ,BIG 10 . Yes Oh St played a good game . They have a coach that is really good. They should be proud of the way they played (not chase young). But in the past 2 times the big 10 had sent THEIR "champion they couldn't even score a point. NO field goals , nothing.

I hope we (the Sooners) don't go back to the playoffs until we relearn how to tackle, cover and block. And, heck, throw and run.

I enjoyed watching the Ohio State/Clemson game and im not a huge fan of either team but I'm not sure the best team won the game. Even with the bad calls which happen OSU should have scored more than field goals and it wouldn't have mattered. I'll be pulling for my Vols on the 2nd against Indiana but until then I'll just enjoy some good games that don't get me frustrated. Lol
