Hey was that guy Chase Young even on the field? First time I have watched oh st and All I hear is chase young number one de back ???? 4 minutes into the 4th quarter he had ZERO ZILCH NADA TACKLES !!!!!!! Looks to me like he quit on the team hoping he didn't get hurt. If that is his attitude he would been a bigger man not to play and put someone in that wanted to make contact !!!!!!
No tackles !!! REALLY and you are the number one def guy in the nation LO LOL Look at the replay of wade getting flagged for targeting. Look what Chase Young had on him but was still able to get in on the sack. Double teamed through out the game and seldomed ran at him. And if you look close you can see the face mask that the officials somehow missed. With that being said, Clemson had a good and successful game plan to contain him. When that is happening your other team mates have to pick up the slack. Did they, I believe they did. What really hurt was going down several times in the red zone and not punching the ball across for 6. Can't do that against a good caliber teams like Clemson. Real good game but to say he quit, I think you are wrong on that. Russ

But really zero tackles? I DIDN'T SAY ZERO SACKS !1 No tackles !!! You may want to check the stats on the game before claiming zero tackles. Half ton summed it up. Clemson contained Chase Young almost perfectly throughout the game. Double teams and running away from his side of the field. He still put pressure on Lawrence a few times though. I am not a Buckeye fan by any means, but the Buckeyes out performed Clemson in almost every category.

Being so that Kentucky basketball sucks he has to have something to crow about. NOW NOW . Might want to look at how many Nat titles trophies are living in Lexington .. How many trophies you got in IA !!!!!! You know National trophies ! Iowa has 4 football national titles and 23 wrestling titles. Those are men sports, not talking sissy sports like all others.

All I have heard "Oh ST best defense" "Oklahoma best offense" "OH St Fields offensive machine" , I have said this from the beginning of watching college football. Stats mean NOTHING unless you look at the competition they are made against. Any football team with a decent offense can rack up yards and points when playing against middle school talent. Just look what happens to big 12 , pack 12 heck ,BIG 10 . Yes Oh St played a good game . They have a coach that is really good. They should be proud of the way they played (not chase young). But in the past 2 times the big 10 had sent THEIR "champion they couldn't even score a point. NO field goals , nothing. You really are an ignorant moron. I'd love to see Clemson or Alabama in the Big 10. Ask Penn State and Nebraska how well that's worked out for them. I doubt you really want to see an expanded playoff system.

It has worked out half decent for Penn State, 4 Big 10 titles in football in the short time they've been in the Big 10.
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

"That interception that sealed the game was not even close to a jersey of the buckeye color."
The receiver zigged when he should have zagged, and fell down. I don't think you can blame that last interception on Fields.
I thought the days of bad officiating deciding games was gone, what with the video replays. I was wrong.
Jim Sucks when the team you are crowing about falls short. Fields threw the ball directly to the Clemson defender and you say not his fault....HaHa! O-Cry-O State fans It is what they do...... They had a great year but stick a fork in them, they are done! There is always next year........ I guess you have a hard time understanding route running in football. Let me help ya. It's a timing route, the QB throws to an area the receiver is supposed to be in. The receiver ran the wrong route. See, it's pretty simple

Being in the big ten definitely has helped raise their wrestling profile. Ole jybrd seems to think any team in the SEC or ACC would easily win the big ten in football. Remember they play no patsies lol

Iowagian, what is the objective of passing the ball in football? Did the play you have your drawers in a wad over accomplish the objective? I did not think so either.
When the game was on the line, Clemson made plays. Ohio State failed to make plays that could have resulted in a different outcome. Clemson won and is playing for the national championship. Ohio State lost and went home!
Does not get any more simple than that.

It has worked out half decent for Penn State, 4 Big 10 titles in football in the short time they've been in the Big 10. Penn State was a quality addition to the big ten, they are always tough in football. Their first year in the league they went undefeated, should have won the national championship but it was still a vote back then and they came in second. I can remember Beno Cook saying back then Penn State would be the big ten champ for the next decade. Well next year they lost 2 or 3 games in the B1G, Joe Paw said he didn't realize the B!G was that tough. Nittany you guys been in the league a while what is your take on the level of play from top to bottom.

When Penn State joined the Big 10's eleven teams from top to bottom were pretty competitive. I think Nebraska will eventually be strong, Rutgers and Maryland are weak for now. I think the top teams in the Big 10 would be very competitive against any conference's top teams including the SEC.
