Was a challenging and fun year on the line. Never had one like it but I think that’s why I like trapping so much. It’s constantly changing. We got two inches of rain the last couple days and I think it’s time I toss in the towel. I have a week or two before school starts back up. Sure wish I could keep chasing my favorite cats but I’ll be done in May. Next year I’d like to travel to trap. That is if I’m still alive. The wife knew I needed her jeep. I didn’t mention I was chucking it full of fur. The backseat has 6 badger and 4 carcass fox... I just didn’t get around to skinning them.

Of note I ran nothing but Marty Smith’s Keg Creek showtime for almost all of the fur. He makes a good product. I know they’re all good but they sure liked his.

Nice bunch of fur.

I have to agree with Mac, they are much prettier than our NY coyotes as well. They look as if they have been shampooed , conditioned and drummed ? Great job putting them up.

Thanks. I don’t have time to put them up they’re green. I just wash everything with a hose after skinning. Snap them out like a towel. Then brush them out.

Good job. I was thinkin of giving in as well. inch of rain n now 12 inches of snow on top of it. Gonna be chained up all day tommorow resetting and find sets in snow drifts. If I didn’t just move 40 traps to really good coyote ground I’d call it a season.

There is no try or try not, only a coyote in the trap or not.

Nice work, they're a handsome bunch. I hope you do as well as you can in the green fur market.

Congrats on a great season and best of luck finishing your studies. Hope you’re still going to be on here helping those of us still learning the ropes. Appreciate all the advice given in posts. And good luck with the wife...that’s a tricky situation, lol.

Good job wade.

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
