“Dad look at this” is what I heard two and a half years ago while scouting for coon with one of my boys. It was a tree that a beaver had been working on. That’s when it hit me!! The boy is 16 and has never seen beaver sign!! I’m pretty sure I caught last beaver on the creek in 2001 the year he was born. It hasn’t ran continuously since then. There is beaver sign about every 1/4 mile or so. I haven’t trapped them manly out of respect because it’s been so long since we have had them and from all the great memories I have from days gone be past. My question is after a few years of continuous stream flow and good sign is it time to get after them or let the be?? Thanks

Trap them or they will take over the whole area

1.5 to 2 per live house and you'll always have beaver(unless someone else is trapping).

Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

Outstanding wildlife habitat. You couldn't have anything close to it built. Will flood and kill living trees though. I'm sure replacements will come in anyway to replace them. Catch otter too. Great for waterfowl especially woodies in my area. Catch some.
