So this is a first for me. Muskrat and a mink in a Belisle 280 on a dam crossover. Could see the muskrat being in the front jaws and the mink in the rear but these where exactly side by side, facing the same way when the trap fired.

Have heard of multiples of the same species but anyone ever have this before?

I have had that happen before I believe the mink was dragging the dead muskrat when it hit the trap. Probably same thing happened here. Amazing catch!

Looks like the mink won by a nose.

Caught a mink in a 330 that was straddling the back of a 17" Brook Trout. Bottom edge set at a large mid-stream rock.

Multi species catches are cool.

Had that happen a couple times on beaver dam crossovers.Check the rats neck for puncture-mink was dragging the muskrat.

I've also had that happen once. It appeared the mink was carrying it up the creek when it hit the 220 otter blind set. For some unknown reason my computer will not let me directly post the picture, only the code or whatever. Just click on it to get the picture.

The only constant in trapping is change so keep learning.

Got a double in a 1.5 coil once on a rat float. One by the back foot the other by the tail. What must they have been doing for that to happen?

3 rats in two traps.

Great catch right there. Hoping to catch our first mink and muskrat this year. I’d love to catch them together...haha.
