That's prime weather to frostscrape a bunch of pelts.Very easy and fast at that temp.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

That's prime weather to frostscrape a bunch of pelts.Very easy and fast at that temp. That process has always intrigued me. Problem is I want nothing to do with that kind of cold.

Its fine if you dress for it.You get acclimated to it when you live in a climate like that.Life doesn't stop because it gets a bit cold.

Reading about temps like that reminds me of when I was a kid still living on the Highline of northeastern Montana ! Feeding cows or checking coyote snares is a good time or even pulling a submersible pump out of a deep water well .

Hey Nessmuck I have not done frost scraping can you enlighten me on it? Thanks That frost scraping is Boco’s gig.......you leave ..non fleshed...tacked out beaver pelts on the board, outside when it’s 0 or colder....and scrape them clean with little effort. I think Boco has a you tube video

Coldest I’ve been in was -45 in Pittsburg NH....ice fishing. Just glad the wind wasn’t blowing.....
