My daughter and her husband are attending the parade and the Rose Bowl today. SIL is an athletic trainer and enjoys football and my daughter has somehow taken a liking to the Ducks. Personally, I like the Ducks cheer leaders better but the football team is not awful either.

I predict the B10 is going to have a bad day today but the Badgers probably have the best chance of being a bright spot.

I can't believe the champ game isn't until the 13th. They say they can't go to a 16 team play off but it has been 6 weeks since the season was over. 7 weeks for some teams.

In my opinion a 16 team playoff would be a bit much. I think 8 would be the right number.

Saban lacks class. He just had to score again at the end of the game. Michigan had no time outs and couldn't possibly win, instead of instructing his quarterback to take a knee he just had to punch it in again. On the other hand if you had watched the Minnesota/Auburn game, Minnesota had the ball near the goal line with 2 minutes to go. They only had a 7 point lead. Instead of trying to score again they took the knee until time expired, that was a real classy move. How many head sets does Saban go through in the course of a season?

I enjoyed watching the Auburn/ Minnesota game, Minnesota has a good team and apparently a great coach. Looking at the 2020 mock draft Alabama has 9 players going in the first round and didn't make the playoffs. Then a team like Minnesota has no blue chip players and has the season they had. That tells me they have a great coach.

I knew Sabin was a jerk years ago, when he was coaching LSU. Iowa beat them in the Orange Bowl I believe. That was the year he went to the pros It was his last game before he left. After the game all he could do was badmouth his own players, never said one thing about how Iowa played. Then he crashed and burned in the pros and comes back to coach Alabama. The guy was born with a silver football under his arm.

Well Minnesota played a good game. Hard hitters. I guess Auburn has fired Gus Malzahn again. We'll see if they hire him back, Again! Dang tigers lost to a GOPHER.
