Edge of a pasture with the nearest water 60/70 yards away, the hut was actually set in the woods along the pasture and I don’t think there was ever any water around it or access to water

There was actually no sign that he ever even used the water for anything no slides ect and no trees cut near the water

He was also missing one front foot and part of the second so the only thing I can think of is that he was afraid to go into the water after get caught

He was also the poorest looking beaver I have ever caught
