I use a sheet of roof metal -as wide as desired, slices in and slides the rest right off in big chunks. Light and easy to handle.

If it was 60 degrees warmer that would work....but then it would just be heavier

X2 on the roof rake for the shed. Tank I’d only worry about the fill location.

Yeah I'm not worried about either of those two. Been trying to get my house roof cleared but it's been snowing 12-24 inches every night. Just can't seem to get ahead of it

Would electric roof deicing cables melt that snow ?

I don't know but at 72 cents a KWH I'm not willing to find out

I find a snow float clears a roof very easily,relatively speaking.
Moving the snow away from the house after it is on the ground and hardens up is another job.I chunk it with a metal snowshovel and blow it with the snowblower.Take my time and it goes good.
Only have to do it once in the winter-March usually,but sometimes twice.

Just yodel real loud at it. It'll slide right off.

I have a metal roof with ice restraints. I try to keep the snow on the roof and out of my driveway. Most of the time it doesn't work.

You need vanilla, sugar and milk and eat your way through it.
