$27 is a good avg on beaver, I would concentrate on trapping those.

Very fair on fox, I only know not one place to get more. Most are less. Castor price is great. Makes beaver worth trapping.
Wish I had more time to trap....

You'd better hope that fur buyer is still in business next year. I think he must be really speculating with those prices, just my opinion. I sure hope he's right with his hunches.

I figured I would share what we sold our fur for. All fur was put up but I am far from a master fur handler. I'm betting that with as much fur as you have put up over the years, you are pretty close to being a "master fur handler". I also sold the first part of my catch to Matt and thought I was treated extremely well. As soon as I get the rest out of the freezer and put up, he will be getting it also.

I see that # 136 marten is missing in action....I presume.someone is tanning his first catch, that's awsumeeeeee. Exactly right. His first animal of every species gets tanned and hung on his wall. He only has a couple more critters to go before he has a complete MN collection.
I have nothing clever to put here.

Thank you for posting the prices you are getting. I do not think those prices are too bad. The Muskrat is better than i was thinking and the beaver including the castor price combined isn't bad at all. I would like to see that trend continue for the season.
