I'm setting with an elderly lady. She asleep and im online. I can't and dont sleep when i work nights necause they pay me to make sure shes ok and im afraid if i fall asleep something will happen.

So I came here to check on y'all.

Jerry left for Arkansas today to trap coyotes. I'm in for a lonely few days.

Thankfully my daughters home so we are gonna go visit my son tomorrow and go do a little shopping ive put off doing.

So again..whats keep y'all awake tonight?

But I support him completely. He been depressed over the market so its doing him good.

I got to stay at home and work up some meat he got, stretch beaver and rats,check a few snares, and take care of his dogs.

The things i do so he can galavant around the country.

Seriously, I hope he has a great trip! He needs and deserves it.

Hes went with josh a few times before and theyve done real good in the past.

Waiting for some of todays skinned marten's catch to dry and flip fur side out in an hour.

I gave up sleeping, watching Bob Ross painting a winter landscape....

Just watching the radar and hoping the rain quits before daylight and trying to figure out how long it will take the forecasted sun and wind to dry things out tomorrow. Also looking at the app and trying to remember how many dirt holes vs Zagger method traps I have out...hoping the dirt holes aren’t flooded out and will fire. And waiting for something to trigger the camera other than stinking deer. Pretty sure I have one tripped trap already. Deer had a little party around it!!

LOL.. I know. Hes working. I have no fear hes chasing 2 legged beaver.

How many marten do you catch in a season ?

I just came in from the lure shed where I worked up another 8 gallons of Bait Solution. Having my nightly glass of wine, then to bed.

Just sat down at work before starting on my scheduled PMs. I always make time for a little Tman. Come on 6:45am.

We are not like Minn and have a 2 animal limit. Our season is Nov- mid Feb.
I catch enough fur as income that I have to declare them on my tax form as income. but that is another subject.
Who needs a membership in a Heath Club....just take up trapping the season is Oct-May.

I am 100 miles north of wissmiss. I am checking trapperman then hitting the sack.
