I have been really slowed down by burning feet, numbness from the waist down, sciatica, etc. But the last few months have been really bad. Just no strength in the legs and can't stand in one spot without pain. I finally broke down and went to the Dr. Had an MRI and some X Rays. Yesterday I met with a specialist. Got a but chewing. First off he started in (with pictures) about my hip being worse than wore out. Then he went on about my knee. He said he checked my records and seen where the Dr told me I was bone on bone …. this was 5 or so years ago. I had to change the subject to quit getting chewed on so I asked him what my back tests showed. Bad choice. It seems my spinal stenosis and arthritis in my back have gotten noticeably worse since my last MRI 7 or 8 years ago. And I am now in the early stages of Degenerative Disk disease and he found a new ailment. It seems I have a slipped vertebra. Any body here dealing with any of this. I am sure several commented on a couple of earlier posts I had.... but what about a slipped vertebra (what the long word means). I told him I ain't going to let this stop me doing what I want, I will probably have to go slower. Had him calmed down pretty good...… until I went to put my tenny shoes on. Two 22-250 shells fell out of one and he said "Oh my gosh" !!!! I said they must of fell in my shoe when I sat on my bed (had the shells and gun on the bed) when a got dressed to come to the DR. He wasn't worried about the shells, he was shocked I couldn't feel them against my toes . Then the chewing out started again about me needing to get some stuff done.
