Would you buy an expensive gun from a new member with no feedback if the member was verified? The maximum GB will refund is $500 with a $100 deductible. I did not get it but was wondering what was the chance it was a crook.

When in doubt back out. Dealt with them for years until they went all Ebay on listing fees they are all about making a buck. I listed stuff I could not find in that exact listing turned into a big waste of time.

seriously listed stuff you couldnt find? that has to be deliberate to protect preferred sellers. somebody made a post a few months back that said a no reserve auction was not honored. poster had the high bid but it wasnt sold just relisted and gun broker let it slide.

it sure is tough to find honest people to deal with

Listed the items typed in the exact description and nothing this was after you had to pay relishing fees if you did not sell the stuff.

I wouldn't. I've bought several times on GB never had a problem but I always go with established folks. One of the things on that listing was no FFL required. I know the gun is old but I like knowing there is someone with an FFL involved especially on firearms when doing business with someone I can't look in the eye.

I'm very, very leary of buying anything over the internet that's used. Tread lightly!

I missed the ffl not required sentence. That rifle wasn't produced till 1920. It can only be shipped legally through an ffl. I don't know what WI law is. It may be legal to sell face to face there but that firearm meets the restrictions of the gun control act of 1968. Either its a scam or the seller is trying to get a federal gun violation felony.

I have bought some milsurp firearms on GB, some were 1920 ish Mosin Nagants and they were shipped to a FFL. That not rated member and deal just smells funny.

you're only allowed so many sunrises... I aim to see every one of them!

When I buy guns I like to have my hands on them before I purchase. I have used Gunbroker to price check guns before I head out to auctions.
