The book "Crow Killer" is also a good one. After that movie was when I bought my .50 caliber Hawken.

I went by old Jeremiah's gravesite a couple years ago outside Cody, Wyoming. He was reinterred there back in the late 70's from somewhere in California I think. There's some photos there of Robert Redford (unfortunately he didn't dress the part) being one of the pallbearers at his ceremony along with some local mountain man reenactors. Pretty cool stop if you're ever over that way.

Sorry to disappoint you boys,but I'm a Northerner,not no southern gay hillbilly.
That show was a good depiction of the American mountain men though,lol.
