His top teeth are missing so he had nothing to grind his bottom teeth on.All rodents incisors continue to grow throughout their life, and are kept ground down by grinding the upper and lowers together and by gnawing on stuff. Seen a pic of a beaver where one of his teeth grew into his skull and killed him. His jaws were misaligned from some sort of injury.
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

I have seen teeth like that in Netherlands dwarf rabbits a friend of mines girlfriend used to raise and in a few other Netherlands dwarf rabbits another breeder had too. I used dykes to cut their teeth back for her. It was not easy. The rabbits probably should have been culled.
Keith Crazy as this sounds, I seen it with pet gerbils when I was a child, and we had the same thing done. I forgot about that till you mentioned this about the rabbits.......

Keith What's a Lesbian got to do with it? Dykes are probably the third most useful tool on my farm. Keith

I do get the occasional pair of lesbian pigeons. They typically lay 4 fertile eggs, so they obviously not committed lesbians. Dykes are very useful for cutting, tying and shaping wire, cutting bands, rope and zip ties off, trimming beaks and toenails on birds and pulling small nails. Keith
