That is a good looking calf 330. Just had one last week myself. Ours are getting far enough from the original hereford stock that it was a solid black calf. I sure do like them modely faced calves, may have to put a hereford bull on mine to bring it back when the old cows go.

I expect that kind of psychotic behavior from the rodeo bred cows and F1s, but every once in a while some random angus decides her calf doesnt need my kind of help LOL.

We have had over 40 claves since Christmas and I've only been run over twice so I have that going for me!

Oh yeah, the Hereford helps but one of these years it will happen to you. The baby will bawl right as you grab it and Bam! The rodeo is on.

With only 10 or so a year the law of averages say they will wait until you are aged and brittle. Then you can post on Tman from your hospital room LOL.

The great Terry Don West rode all thr bad bulls even Gunslinger and Bodacious. The last year he was at the Bull Riders Only finals, Larry Wyche's bottle baby bull Prairie Dawg rolled over in the chutes and nearly killed the man.

I have a massive herd of 7 and rodeo every time it seems. I have learned to try and place my atv in between me and the cow when I am trying to get the first ear tags in. I have been charged several times and have run off. I generally try to get an ear tag in the first day or two or else I have a hard time catching the calf. I don't give shots or cut or band until I get everything back home where I can catch up everything again in my panels when calves are about 5 months old. I then let my cows out and try to head and heel my calves so I can get them banded and shots into them. I still don't have a good chute or corral for handling cows/calves. Best thing I do is get them all used to me bucket feeding them about every day some grain. At least that way they will come when I call them....

It appears the eyes on both the cow and calf are light colored. Kind of different looking. Most of mine are dark and I have one that is more of a hazel eyed color but yours almost look light blue
