Does the fur truck pick up green fur or only finished? Never sold to Groenwold but most of my furbuyers are gone within 200 miles of me and I have not finished anything this year. This will be for the route ran through central Missouri - I have no idea who the driver is.

They buy green and round here, as well as put up. I would say that most of the fur I saw at the stops i sold at was green.

No idea what the difference is. I averaged 10 on put up coon. Guys selling green were talking about 5-10 apiece, guessing the avg was closer to 5.

I saw green skinned coon bringing $15.00 and $2.00.

The guy had 30 some green skinned coon I sat down with him after he sold. All he could say was see I got 2 coon at $15.00 and 1 at $12.00 and I said what about the 18 coon that brought $2.00.

I have been hearing some where around $5.00 averages on green skinned coon. And around $10.00 On put up stuff.

Spend some time on their website. They list how they will buy fur for various areas. It is definitely not the same everywhere. Just scroll down the following link.

I am averaging $10 overall on put up coon right now. Not Groeny prices but seem to match market well.

I see they are running relatively close to me across the line in New York. Do they buy the fur right at the truck or are they taking it back to be graded? I wouldn't mind seeing their offers, but don't want to drive 45 min. to find out they are taking it to grade at a later time and getting back with a price. Then if I'm not happy with the offer, I'm guessing I would have to pay to have it shipped back. Just curious. I have several options and would like to "no sale" if there offers are lower.

Buy at the truck. Check at the truck. If you don't like the offer, you walk away with your furs.

if you do make sure to get the paperwork to take your fur out of state.
