Left out at 2:30 PM on the 31st and drove straight through. We bought our licenses at 6:30 AM in Concordia and got camp set up. Without sleep we went right to work on the line. We were able to get some gear on the ground so we will be doing a first partial check tomorrow morning. After being awake and going nonstop for over 36 hours we were ready for sleep.

We are definitely limited to morning work in many areas due to the mud!

Hope to start making catches soon.

Trip got off to a slow start but things are picking up now. Shane connected on a coyote yesterday and today he picked up two coyotes and a bobcat. I’m still sitting at a goose egg for target catches but I’m having a blast!

Tomorrow we will get to the properties that were previously to muddy .

Shane has been catching many coyotes a badger and a bobcat. After a long drought I was able to start making target catches as well. I got a coyote and my largest bobcat.

I’m running about 55 sets now. I believe Shane is close that as well. We are running about 120 miles a day on the truck and most places we can get fairly close or drive right to the sets. In a couple locations we have to park and walk a little.

Been following you guys on Facebook that warm weather will slow them down. Hopefully you guys get this front moving in tonight. I’m only an hour north of where you are. Should run good for you. Good luck.

We had a slow day with no target catches. Lots of grinners and stinkers moves in the wind though.

We have a deer gut pile in a draw with bethel entrance trails cabled. When checking this morning we found a freshly killed deer half eaten and partially covered with leaves. We are not sure if coyotes killed the deer and a bobcat claimed it or if there is a big cat around here.
