Ya'll ready for this: Impossible foods company's ultimate goal is to completely replace animals as a form of food by 2035. A new pork sausage offering is going on sale in January at 139 Burger King locations in test markets across the U.S. They are also working on chicken and turkey alternatives. Ya think maybe raccoon, beaver, and muskrat could be in the works too.

From what I have read the ingredients they use to make fake meat are almost identical to those in dog food.

Well you just got to know if someone actually wants to eat that crap, someone will make and sell it. It's the American way. Someone making money off something. Whats wrong with that?

The problem with the company is that the CEO of it wants to end ALL animal consumption by 2035. No meat, no milk, no cheese, no eggs, nothing.

There will need to be a lot of research regarding which food items impact the environment the most or least and that will take time to see which creates the larger foot print. On the other hand if artificial meat can be produced economically it will be a huge seller worldwide where higher levels of protein that don't need cold storage and or refrigeration and or have longer expiration dates would be very much wanted.

If you don't like it, don't buy it. If you want real meat, raise it or kill it yourself. If you want real eggs, raise chickens. They make products out of fake fur too. I just don't buy it. People are entitled to live their life the way they want just as I'm entitled to live mine the way I want.

The problem is they want you to also live life the same way they do.Not the way you do.They want to outlaw our way of life.

I refuse to even try the impossible whopper beyond burger etc... I was forced to veggie hotdogs and veggie burgers in 6th grade.
God gave us K9's teeth for a good reason. Meat is the very good reason.

Ending all meat consumption will create a huge environmental Nightmare. More ground being tilled plowed planted harvested irrigated etc.

I was lucky to never face that in school.

Fake products have always been around. They always will be. When did Faux Fur first start being produced? Yet the world still has an interest in real fur because it's superior in many ways. Fake food has been around a long time but intelligent people still prefer real food for a variety of reasons. I see this Impossible Meat stuff as a short-lived fad. Don't buy it and they'll stop trying to shove it down our throats....literally.
