I have used Meyer Hatchery out of Ohio for years. They are very dependable and when i lived in Ohio i could pick up directly from them. Before that i used Norfolk chicken hatchery in Nebraska. I am not aware if they exist anymore though. Need to research that a bit.

We had good luck with Hoovers last spring. We ordered 3 each of 6 varieties. Doing great although we now have a very happy rooster who slipped through the sorting process! I watch him go to work each day with a different girl and I have to say there is a little envy! Chris

Never ordered but one of my fav breeds was my french copper maran. What a personality and all it wanted to do was forage for bugs. Great chicken laid very well too for me all the way until it was 3.
