Nice. I have never seen a cat I may have called in. They are so camouflaged, and so sneaky, I am impressed anytime somebody gets one by calling.

Danny,watching them slink in at night in the lights is incredible--and sometimes scary.hate it when them eyes were comin but can't find em for the life of ya then bam--20 yds away.our season is close for bobcats.
great job and great cat.

I've called in a few but couldn't get them to come out of the sagebrush and commit to the caller even with the wiggly feather topper thing. I'm thinking of trying to call in a lion but I need to make a cubby from some old fruit branches to hide the caller. I plan to just turn it on and then go to bed and then in the morning go out to see if I can find tracks. If I find any I'll call one of my houndsman buddies to help chase it down.
I may not have gone where I intended to go, but I think I have ended up where I needed to be.

i use their desire to be above the sound and lookin down to my advantage here.
i find them as easy to call as grey fox here but i'm always hunting on fresh sign i've saw for 2 months trappin.just takes em twice as long to get there.
also when that set of eyes stares at me from a hidden spot for more than 10 seconds-i think cat right away.they sit still way longer than most nervous canines in my opinion.
ugly eastern overpopulated cats so factor that in.Good Luck.

here in ks you can call at night but no light is allowed. i have called in coyotes in snow, so i could see a little better, and used #4 buck on them.
