Got a nice prime pale yote, a little small, but nice fur. After dried on a NAFA spec board it's just at or slightly below 42" from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail. All my other coyotes are between 48" to 50". Will it get downgraded for size ? If so by how much ? Thinking I may tan it if it's going to tank my average. Any advice ? -Thanks

If it's pale and not rubbed its 100+ tan a dark one.

size wont effect the grade. it will bring less money though than a coyote thats bigger with the same grade of fur. not a bunch less though. coyotes today are being cut into strips and sewed back together most of the time

Where do I need to go to get $100+ for a northern Indiana coyote ? My averages over the last few years have been around $40 to $50; with a $62 high for my very best "pale"semi heavy and $16 for my tawny flat yote on the low side.

At auction every year I get a few over 100 now you will not find and any country buyer willing to pay that. If you can wait on you money .

They don't have to be that nice or pale to bring over $100 at Auction.
