Most nickel silver is 18 percent nickel, 62 percent copper and 20 percent zinc. Rogers had fairly frequent name changes and was eventually bought by International Silver, who stamped IS next to the Rogers. Later flatware is made in Asia. You should be able to trace within 20 or 30 years when it was made. Rogers flatware has many hundreds of patterns. I like the old silver plate and sterling flatware. I have a fair amount of the silver plate. It does not have much value unless in excellent condition. Keith

wr otis trapper W Joined: Jun 2008 Posts: 3,716 SW Pa	Found an old fork Saturday, made out of copper but probably silver plated at one time. Tines are shorter to longer from left to right, looks like it was made that way. Like it was made for a right handed person.

Used aluminum foil, baking soda, vinegar mix...and of course right now can't find where I have it written down how much of each.. Pretty sure you can google it and find several recipes.
