When you are setting for a target species, do you prefer to have the target or no catch or a catch whether it is the target or not?

Usually Target ...sometimes thats several species
Great way to answer the target nontarget question, we all set knowing we may take several different species from the same set.

I believe the question involves the option of a specific furbearer target and the other optional furbearers available. Like here a set for coyote will often take a badger or Fox.

Any Catch. Bothers me for a long time to have a critter come in and no catch doesn't matter if its a skunk in a coyote set or a mink that crawled around in a coon box

No catch. I target red fox and only want red fox. The occasional coyote is seen as a bonus but no other species. I caught a possum this morning, just shook my head, wasn’t happy about it.
Eh...wot?

I prefer "No Catch". If I am targetting coyotes like I am now, that is all I want. A bonus Tom is nice, but nothing is as sweet as a coyote in a coyote set, imho
