If I had a calf and gave it a name the thing would die of old age. X2! I helped a friend care for his hogs. 6 sows and 1 boar. These were big hogs. When he sold the sows they were 600-700 lbs. The boar was bigger. When I got to the farm in the morning, I got in the pen and and started to water them. When they heard the noise they woke up and charged out of the shed. It was I'm here 1st pet me. These hogs were I like puppys. All they wanted was to be petted like a dog. If you name a farm animal thats up for slaughter it might not happen.

I just Finished fencing....plumb ran out of property...I have 5 different pastures now to move them on to. Only 3-4 acres each. So I'll stop at 7 ma cows. And sell off the rest of calves for feed $ I myself enjoy fencing .
