Dig those blackish colored beavs. Seen zippo of that color here. Ours are typical a weak brown.

Trapped just south of you and had a buyer tell me the hides must have come out of the Rockies. Nope, caught right here in Jefferson County NY. You could run the hair straight and see the black, push it back and it would shine like a sunrise. Beautiful hides.
