60 minutes used to have one of the most stellar reputations in news for this very reason. Great ratings as well , one of the top shows if not the top. They have slipped slightly since then but still have a good reputation.

Comparing all the news outlets now , who has the highest ratings? That speaks volumes.

Fox has the highest ratings. That is why libtards hate them. As far as 60 minutes goes, I would do a little research on that. They push the left causes hard. I would say just as much as most and they have for quite a long time now.

The highest ratings and accuracy are not necessarily related. Too many want to hear things that make them feel good instead of giving the complete facts. The news outlets have become masters at cultivating a following.

Shows like 60 minutes are better at informing viewer than most of the others because the take the time to get deeper into the subjects they cover. Some of NPR's news is like that too.

We won't see a change in things as long as there is money to be made in keeping things as the are.

Real news is based on trust. Provide facts and truth , not propaganda.

I rarely see leftist news offer corrections after they are debunked by facts.
However , I was impressed with the video clip after Warren/Sanders had a bit of a squabble over lying after the last debate. We need more of that , real news not suppressed.
