Found this bad boy a couple weeks ago Beaver Trapping- it was located on a long channel (could be a hint)- I was thinking an ad hoc dragline? No idea.

It’s too big for a Pig Castrator… but based on the rickety seat perched above all those gears- it definitely could’ve served that purpose for the operator.

Not sure but I bet with little work that motor would run, cool find.


I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

Looks a bit like an old flathead w/gearbox. Might be worth salvaging.

Maybe sawmill ?

I would say it either pulled logs or was used on a larger piece of equipment with some of it missing, but the flat head is worth money.
