AKAjust OP trapper A Joined: Mar 2014 Posts: 2,028 SE Iowa USA	its 0* with a -15 wind chill. Too cold in the basement to work on traps. Which is what I do sometimes when I'm unable to sleep like this. I don't know how my wife does it but she can hit the bed and be asleep in 5 minutes. I've never been able to do that. We got around 2 inches of snow and maybe a half inch of ice on top of it last night. I'm glad I pulled traps. I was thinking about putting a few back out but I don't think its gonna get warm enough to melt this ice crust in the next 10 days which is the end of our trapping season for everything except beaver. Guess I'll do a little surfing and play a couple of games of spider solitaire and try the bed again. Have a good night. just

Nice babysitting money we drove to watch the grandkids about 2 hours so my daughter and son in law could do a date night. We hardly ever play but was just kicking back and unwinding after checking in .
