Nice!

I wonder if tap dancers walk into a room, look at the floor, and think, I'd tap that. I wonder about things.....

I have one. Been tempted to set it for under ice beaver but I can't find an active colony within reasonable walking distance.

There you go. I have a Newhouse #4 I'd like to set but don't want to risk losing it. Are the #14s an uncommon trap to come across? I found mine at a roadside flea market. Spring is just as strong as the day it was made and it's dyed jet black. Missing the ring and some additional chain was added but still a very nice trap.

# 14 jumps are fairly common, in my opinion. At any trapping convention you can usually find them at several booths or tail gate spots. Prices will vary.

The two smaller sizes - # 13 and # 12 - are the difficult ones to find. Especially the 12.

I agree with Bruce T the 14 was a great beaver otter trap ,cant use a trap with teeth now in Michigan,i picked up a 13 in new condition someone cut the teeth out. I have some #4 jumps victor and blake/lame that I use now and then, they are a good trap also. that is a nice string of 14s there 330 trapper.
