I see this brought up on here on a regular basis so I thought I'd give my two cents on the subject. This is the link to my you tube channel of boiling, dyeing, and waxing your traps. I trap wolf, wolverine, lynx, fox, and marten mostly and I think scent proofing and preserving your traps is the equivalent of sighting in your gun if your hunting. Its my second video I'm still a little nervous and made a couple mistakes. FINALLY!!!!! I hate arguing with people about the purpose of dying traps. Its not for coloring, its not for odor. It's to protect the trap. Thanks for the awesome video!
