Go Cowboy! My son always backs the cocky guy and I HATE cocky people! We're Browns fans so that played out with Johnny Manziel a few years ago. One point for the old man. I hope Conor gets his head taken off (figuratively) tonight.

Conner and Cerone was never a real fight . Cowboy never had the skills to make it real, it was just a hyped setup fight to give Conner a win, an impressive win to set him up for a bigger ($$$) fight. When the drama and money gets bigger than the fight I start losing intrest.
I bet Cowboy even realized it but was happy to take the $$ at this point in his career.

Just came off losing two fights in a row and got knocked out both times. How does he get to fight Mcgregor after that? Dana White wanted to give Cowboy a good pay day at the end of his career, at the same time give Mcgregor a tune up fight for him to get going again on a winning streak.
Cold as ice!

In the post fights I watched nobody even committed on "what happened to Cowboy " or questioned if Cowboy wasnt prepared or what will be cowboys next fight. In the post it was all about McGregor and what he'll do next just as this fight was planned to be. Dont get me wrong I'm a fan of Cowboy and wished he would have won but it wasn't in anyone's plans. Not one comment about what's next for Cerrone, there's a reason. If hes so great and a contender why doesn't anyone care about his future? I like the guy but I'm realistic also. Personally I'm not sure McGregor is a real contender but he generates big money and they will milk him for all they can. Find him a couple more fights they hope he can win the cash in on the Khabib Fight. Just my thoughts.

Even without the knee to the face I don't think he had the skills to compete with McGregor. It would have been a better fight had he not caught the knee but I don't think he could have won. Holm played it safe, no "fight of the night" there but she got the W. All in all an enjoyable event.
Eh...wot?
