i responded to you on the email. have had several students fly in...got 4 hotels within 1 mile of me. 3 days of trapping moles...first day we are talking moles and selling/locating correct placements of traps, they are also watching me set traps and by the end of the day i have them setting at least a couple traps. second day more location teaching and then i set a trap, then they set a trap, back and forth. it helps them refine their confidence setting traps. 3rd day we are checking the yards we set the first 2 days and setting some more. Location is the biggest teaching i do. Why set 6 to 8 traps per mole when you can set 1 to 2 traps per mole. make more stops a day and still kill the moles in the yards.
mid april to mid june is usually the best time for us here in Central Iowa.
$500 for 3 days. Could probably charge more... have had students tell me i should. but i am good with that.
i should note that i only use the out of sight...have caught lots of moles with the trapline traps but currently don't have any...i am deadly with the out of sight...don't need the other trap. Location is much more important than trap selection. i also only have the eastern mole here in iowa...no other species
