6 or 7 years ago, about 2,000 of us showed up in Trenton NJ when a bunch of new gun control regulations were being proposed. Dozens of us spoke at the committee hearing against the bills. They had flown the Newtown families in and had special seating for them at the hearing. The pro-2A speakers outnumbered the anti-constitution speakers 20 to 1. We filled two huge meeting rooms and had another 1,500 gun owners standing outside in the cold all day.
When the day was over, the committee voted for every single anti-gun bill.
Hobbie Trapper is right, it will have no impact on lawmakers. Remember, Bloomberg spent $2.5 million to buy their anti-gun votes. Unfortunately, it doesn't matter how many showed up. It matters who will pay the most to buy votes.

He needs to be recalled before he pushes laws through that makes it impossible to recall the clown.

That clown is as good as out of office. I guarantee it. No way he is getting reelected unless he stuffs the ballot box.

It matters who will pay the most to buy votes. I have to agree to a point, but it is much harder to buy Vote when it comes to a State or National election. When an issue is in committee or on the floor is much easier to get votes. Remember money talk and (****) walks. The issues of gun control and the 2nd amendment is not going to go away. Michael Bloomberg is going to see that it doesn't *Only one thing that politicians are afraid of, is your Vote. *

Taser I remember that. Grackle thought the state of emergency was a good move on the governor's part. You know a person exercising their 2nd amendment right is a dangerous thing.

referring to the redneck American thread where you stated that a good job was done by calling a state of emergency thus keeping gun activists in check.....

Don't forget he espoused that opinion here too. Don't let her do your thinkin' for ya fin. If something happened at this event, given the way things went down in Charlotsville, the law suit against the city by anyone hurt today would be a huge liability. Apparently things went well. No one was hurt, no shots fired, nobody ran over their fellow American. Whatever was done in preparation for the demonstration seemed to be well thought out.....Not that that will keep some from doing all they can to find fault with it. https://trapperman.com/forum/ubbthreads.php/topics/6737916/1Keith
