Here is my logic- If no one is stacking up the fisher and marten like they use to do, then there has got to be a lot of them out there. Why not pre bait to get them coming in and then use foot traps?

A back pack with some wire, 220's, beaver and some lure and hiking through the woods. Havnt trapped them since the animal exclusion devices were introduced.I do know it seems female fisher are taking more of a beating not to mention the lynx kittens must be taking a beating with the explosion of fisher now. Good science! "My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my traps for what I said I paid for them."
